How easy is it to personalize content at scale?
While the majority plan to increase their content personalization this year, just over half (52.8%) of marketing respondents also claim that personalization is “not very easy” to scale due to being such a “manual process” for them.
For those that don’t find it difficult, only 13% find it “seamless” and this is due to using automation to facilitate personalization. The bulk of this group (34.3%) are able to make personalization at scale “relatively straightforward” by using templates to speed up the process.
As more marketers increase their personalization over the next year, it’s likely this pain point will drive many towards automation and templated content creation in order to accelerate their workflows, but also to make content personalization more accessible from a sales enablement perspective.
