It's about time to kill the PDF altogether, don't you think? But if you absolutely have to download your Turtl Story as a PDF, remember that the download file updates once an hour, half past the hour.
For example, if you made changes to your Turtl Story at 3:45 the changes would be reflected in the PDF at 4:30.
If the conversion rate on your first chapter is particularly low it may be because you've enabled the Immerse Level on the Cover Page.
If you do this, it means that you'll have two call to actions on the first page of your Story, which can lead to the reader skipping to the second chapter and completely missing the first chapter. Keep the first page of your Story as a Cover Page to avoid this confusion.
Sometimes a blank page can appear in your Turtl Story whilst formatting. The most common issue causing a blank page is either a column or page break.
When creating Stories in Turtl, your text and widgets will flow from column to column unless they are pinned.
Column and page breaks push content to the next column or page, however if the majority of your content is pinned and you have inserted a break, this will cause a blank page to be created at the end of an immerse section, because the break isn't needed.
Line breaks between pinned objects in the editor can similarly cause a blank page.
If you have a rogue blank page in your Story, remove page/column/line breaks, working your way from the bottom to the top of your content, until the extra page is gone.
In the text editor a column break would look like this:
And a page break would look like this:
