As an independent consultant, you’re pretty unique as a Turtl user. What’s it like using Turtl on your own? How does it help a “one-man-band” like yourself?
I was reading an article just the other day about the levels of interference and lack of understanding and budget many marketers suffer from. I sympathize but have to laugh, because there’s nobody here other than myself to convince that a particular strategy or piece of content is the way forward.
I have always been interested in experimenting with new tools to help tell stories effectively, from the days when I was hand-coding web sites in 1996.
Of course, there’s no coding needed with Turtl, and its clean, minimalist design is an actual pleasure to use.
I have a notebook stuffed with new ideas for using Turtl, and these include using it as a container for marketing materials normally deployed on a website.
One of the simple benefits of using Turtl is that it differentiates my content and my approach from others doing similar work to me, writing, speaking and training focused on LinkedIn.
I have been interested for some years in ‘Blue Ocean Strategy‘ and this approach to my content creation fits the model perfectly - as I eliminate competition by creating a new market space and completely new approach.
