Sometimes a blank page can appear in your Turtl Story whilst formatting. The most common issue causing a blank page is either a column or page break.
When creating Stories in Turtl your text and widgets will flow from column to column unless they are pinned.
Column and page breaks push content to the next column or page, however if the majority of your content is pinned and you have inserted a break, this will cause a blank page to be created at the end of an immerse section, because the break isn't needed. Line breaks between pinned objects in the editor can similarly cause a blank page.
If you have a rogue blank page in your Story, remove page/column/line breaks, working your way from the bottom to the top of your content, until the extra page is gone.
In the text editor a column break would look like this:
And a page break would look like this:
You've sent us lots of questions about pinning, in particular on how to create engaging layouts using the function
One way to create multicolumn layouts using pinning is to use a feature box.
Insert a feature box into your content using the feature widget and add your content:
In the editors preview window on the right, click the pin icon that appears in the top corner of the feature box when you hover over it to enable pinning.
You can then drag your feature box across multiple columns and move it around the page.

Layering widgets can help you to create different layout styles and incorporate different widgets such as quotes, images and feature boxes
Layering can make your content design much more flexible and engaging. To achieve the effect, you need to ensure that the widget you'd like to layer on the top sits below other the widget in the editor.
In the above example, the quote needs to sit after the image in the editor, so that it appears on top. You then need to pin both the image and the quote and drag each into position.
