Nick Melton Marketing Campaign Manager Verint
We use the platform for our partners’ newsletter, in addition to promoting products and solutions within our campaign activity to existing customers and prospects. Additionally, we use the platform on a weekly basis for our internal Marketing Download newsletter, which focuses on content for social media, promoting forthcoming events, webinars and campaign assets. We’re also using it to promote specific events; the most recent Turtl Doc I created was focussed on our annual customer conference that took place back in November.
The internal newsletter was a new initiative which started in 2019. Rather than trying to get everything into an Outlook email, I felt that Turtl was the most practical platform to present the content we wanted to get across. We now link out to specific pages in Turtl from the body of the email. It’s the right balance in terms of user journey and ease of use, plus the final Turtl Doc looks good.
We can see the level of engagement we’re getting from our target audience. What we all like about the Turtl platform is being able to get very detailed analytics from known readers and to understand their specific topics of interest. In this day and age that’s a very powerful tool to have in order to help understand the audience’s level of intent in a specific solution.
You’ve got scope to play around. Especially with a digital platform, you have the ability to try things out. Don’t be afraid to get creative and think about expanding your creative options. Look at your brand guidelines and at other options that might exist, and chat to Turtl to find out how to replicate that on the platform. I certainly did that a few times to raise the level of our visual identity.
The video feature. You can embed a YouTube video into a page without having to take your audience off the platform. The polls are also provide a great level of interactivity too - and we’re all looking for greater levels of interaction with our audience. Generally, the ability to be talking about one specific topic and link across to supporting assets is a really strong point of the platform.
