You and your readers can now make your Turtl content available offline.
This means your publications can be viewed even when you’re not connected to the internet. Need to make a presentation in a venue with no wifi? Want to review some content during a flight? We’ve got you covered.
To use this new feature, open the relevant piece of published content (with an internet connection), click on the “Contents” menu at the top left, then find the “Available offline” toggle at the bottom of the menu. When switched on, you’ll be able to access the content within that particular browser without an internet connection. It will stay accessible even if you’ve turned off your computer to get through airport security or the likes. That's right - if you close your browser, shut down your computer and relocate to somewhere without wifi, you can simply type in the URL again and open your content.
Please be aware that any external links or features (ie videos) that need the internet won’t work in offline mode. The offline button is only visible if the vertical content bar is enabled on your story. Contact support if you're unsure.
