What does using text as a graphic design mean? Instead of type-setting - arranging words on the page - typography is using the words as a stylistic device. Consider using typography in your stories in two main ways:

Mark out your text and maintain consistency with the typography hierarchy.

Bringing words and pictures together is the hardest part, but it's also where the magic happens. Here's a couple of tips to get your composition right.
How do you make your arrangements make sense quickly? Establish a visual hierarchy by thinking of grids in your layout. Grid systems are used by leading architects and graphic designers.
