Shimona Fay Noronha Business Consultant Xchanging, a DXC Technology Company
We used Word to create and format our newsletters at DXC. The process was fiddly though, and it took us a long time to get everything properly formatted.
For our internal newsletters along with content for the DXC Digital Minds program, and for showcasing photos and videos from events we host.
I found it easy to use straight away. Before I created my first newsletter, I played around with the platform and tried out the features for myself. I had a few chats with Lucy from Customer Experience, who gave me some tips on how to make the design look really sleek!
I really enjoyed it. I learned how to use more features at the event - and I thought I knew it all!
The main thing I learned was how to format text across columns - you’re not restricted at all to a particular layout at all. Turtl's CEO, Nick, also showed us some features which might be added in the future, like automated text and auto-adjust. These look super handy.
Pinning images in the background and putting text on top. It looks very editorial and I love that. I also like how images expand when you click on them - it’s very convenient for seeing more detail up close and it looks great.
How would you describe Turtl to someone who’s never used it before? It’s an amazing tool that really brings your work to life. It’s so much better than using a PDF, Word or Powerpoint - it just looks more professional with minimal effort really.
What's the best piece of content you've made using Turtl?
Our most recent newsletter is one of my favorites. I just keep on getting better at creating content because Turtl keeps improving. It keeps getting easier to use, and customer support has been really great as well.
