"We have offices in London, New York, Austin (Texas), and Sydney. The problem we had was that while our main London office was pretty clued in on what was going on, the international offices weren’t being updated as frequently and information wasn’t fully transparent because of that. We saw Turtl as a way to give a voice to every team in every region.
We currently use Turtl to create a global monthly internal newsletter. This is our opportunity for every department to keep everyone updated at one time because we were finding that all of senior leadership were receiving about 20 email reports a week from across the business. This became hugely inconvenient when you had to comb through your inbox to find all these disjointed updates.
The content creation process is really straightforward. Each team is responsible for adding their own content to the newsletter, which works really well in Turtl because their needs are so varied. Some teams use a lot of charts, some have a lot of documents they need to link to, some use more visual infographics, etc. This is something that Turtl allows them to create independently and then one of our designers will just do a final quality check.
Ultimately, Turtl allows us to be constantly accurate and up-to-date, which is a great benefit from a company standpoint. It’s brought all of our jumbled internal messaging together into one living document so that if anyone at any time needs the latest information or the latest version of a company document, they can find it all in our newsletter."
