Hi Turtl Family!
I'm actually born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand! And I'm not Australian! My mum is originally from Guang Zhou in China but born in Vietnam and my Dad is Hokkien but is born in Cambodia. My parents fled Vietnam during the war and were accepted as refugees to New Zealand.

My parents worked very hard to build a new life from scratch for my two sisters and I and I'm forever grateful.

Fast forward to today, my family still live in New Zealand and I've been in the UK for about a year now! I have two lovely nephews and a niece that has just joined our family about a month ago and I can't wait to meet her!

Why Turtl?

Before Turtl I worked at a SASS company for a couple of years doing Content Marketing. I then decided to flee the nest and move to the UK to try something new (and obviously "find myself"), lo and behold I ended up in another content marketing job for an events business. I never felt fulfilled in my previous roles and for the longest time I tried moving into a client-facing role, but the stars were never aligned. So, when the opportunity with Turtl fell on my lap, it was PERFECT! And the rest is history...

So do you just sit at home and watch Friends all day?

Yes... and no, I'm very much a YES woman! I love saying yes to trying new things and I suffer from FOMO (which doesn't help) so I'm always on the go! Here are some of the things I currently do in my spare time:

Travelling
Cooking
Swing dance - learning a bit of Lindy Hop and Charleston!
Currently building a high visibility fashion business with my friend
Bouldering
Hiking
Gigs, I love live music!
